Project Description
'Leves Erbere' is inspired by the Bloomsbury Group, a movement by artists and poets in the early 20th century. This includes the lifestyle they lived and the house they lived in which is now owned by the National Trust, Charleston House in Lewes.
This leads onto the themes for my spring summer collection, nature and heritage. The natural, organic shapes and lines that form my designs showcases nature, in addition to the linens, cottons and silks I have used. While the processes and inspirations emphasise heritage, through the artisan initial drawings and paintings then to my wood carving piece.
Every piece in my collection has been intentional and process led, with a focus on hand touch and time, reinventing and reimagining the Bloomsbury Group today.
